As small as it seems, I am thankful for this beautiful view. It is on the road leading to my home and neighborhood. I am at the top of a hill looking eastward. Yesterday was wet with snow and rain. Since I like rain and snow I enjoy this view looking towards the mountain. In the summer you look down the hill at the flowers and beautiful lawns and yards and the mountains as a huge backdrop.
When I wake up in the mornings this is what I see out my bedroom window. You can't see it but the mountains rise up, and up and up. Way cool! I am thankful, therefore, for the views I see in my neighborhood!
Just out of curiosity, does this scene look familiar to anyone else? I know what it looks like to me, I am just wondering if anyone else thinks the same thing. Respond if it looks familiar, and why and where!
What do you say about yourself that would interest anyone else? I am a mother of 5 children and 10 grandchildren with 3 fabulous son-in-laws and, two daughter-in-laws to keep me in line. To top it off I have the best husband any one woman could have. My basic schedule for most days is to get up early have a personal devotion of scriptures and prayer and hit the road jogging, come home, clean up and play with grandkids, clean house, read, make cookies, eat cookies, think about cookies, look for new cookie recipes...and why did I name my blog what I did? Good times!
