As small as it seems, I am thankful for this beautiful view. It is on the road leading to my home and neighborhood. I am at the top of a hill looking eastward. Yesterday was wet with snow and rain. Since I like rain and snow I enjoy this view looking towards the mountain. In the summer you look down the hill at the flowers and beautiful lawns and yards and the mountains as a huge backdrop.
When I wake up in the mornings this is what I see out my bedroom window. You can't see it but the mountains rise up, and up and up. Way cool! I am thankful, therefore, for the views I see in my neighborhood!

Just out of curiosity, does this scene look familiar to anyone else? I know what it looks like to me, I am just wondering if anyone else thinks the same thing. Respond if it looks familiar, and why and where!

I'm so excited to see all of the things that you are thankful for. It makes me realize that we are all very blessed!!! I don't have any particular thought on the creek, but it's beautiful.

Hello: Super 'around the house' pictures. We live in Maine at the bottom of a hill and not very much of a view. mc

You know what's cool about that road in the picture? Great shopping at the other end of it.
